Does anyone know of any good Tumblr plugins for Wordpress, or Dashboard or anything fun. I’m over Twitter, but I think Tumblr is a good balance of true blogging and Twitter-esque simplicity, and am looking forward to using it a little more. I don’t like having to go to the site to update it though, I’d much rather have a front-end live on my desktop, and I’d like to have Wordpress pull everything into my “blog-proper” here at ryanbudke.com.
Any suggestions?

i have the same problem - i’ve tried to display the tumblr rss feed on my blog’s frontpage, but it doesn’t work. haven’t found any plugin either…have you been successful with integrating tumblr posts in wordpress?

Nothing yet. I know a couple of people that just use Tumblr as their full on blog by redirecting their domain to their Tumblr, but I like having the freedom to write longer posts via Wordpress and also the fun funky little widgets and stuff.
Keep checking back, if I find something I’ll certainly talk about it here.

I would be really interested in something like this too, im keen to have the extra presence of having a Tumblr profile with content, but at the same time i like having control over my entire site and enjoy running wordpress! Have to let me know if you come across anything, i have my eyes peeled

I’m using inineRSS with a few custom hacks to the script to create my Tumblr page. http://www.twistermc.com/blog/tumblr/
If you just want to show headlines in the sidebar, then grab inlineRSS and the Tumblr feed and you’ll be good to go.
