I'm using inineRSS with a few custom hacks to the script to create my Tumblr page. http://www.twistermc.com/blog/tumblr/

If you just want to show headlines in the sidebar, then grab inlineRSS and the Tumblr feed and you'll be good to go.

Have to let me know if you come across anything, i have my eyes peeled :)

Nothing yet. I know a couple of people that just use Tumblr as their full on blog by redirecting their domain to their Tumblr, but I like having the freedom to write longer posts via Wordpress and also the fun funky little widgets and stuff.

Keep checking back, if I find something I'll certainly talk about it here.

i have the same problem - i've tried to display the tumblr rss feed on my blog's frontpage, but it doesn't work. haven't found any plugin either...have you been successful with integrating tumblr posts in wordpress?
