Alright powerful interwebs, I’m turning to you for help. I’m trying to find an audio clip of the classic punchline music that they used in Laugh-In. Wikipedia describes it as:

A six-note pattern preceding a code-word or punchline to an off-color joke, such as “do-doo-doo-da-do-doo … smack!” or “… family jewels!” (sometimes extended to 18 notes by repeating the GGGDEC pattern two more times before the code-word). This same musical phrase had been used as a “signature” at the end of many pieces played by Spike Jones and his City Slickers.

It’s one of those tunes that if you heard it, you’d instantly recognize it. It’s synonymous with wacky jokes and as such, need it for day to day life. If anyone can find a recording of it, let me know and I’ll be forever in your debt.

Just upgraded these here parts to Wordpress 2.5, liking it very much so far. I think I need to give the whole site a new coat of pain though, so expect some more aesthetic changes shortly.

Actually it’s just me, no we, and I’m not going to start talking about myself in multiple third person like Perez does, but I’m watching Bender’s Big Score on DVD in preparation for it’s triumphant return this weekend on Comedy Central.

I’m still catching up from the past couple of weeks, and have lots to recap, but just wanted to write a quick post since I caught shit from Chuck for not uploading my blog. Hope you’re happy.
